Children’s Day Celebration Hyderabad
Children’s Day is celebrated every year on the 14th of November which is the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister “Shri Jawaharlal Nehru”.
He loved children very much so they used to call him “Chacha Nehru”.
Children Day Celebration Hyderabad at OURKIDZ
In ‘OURKIDZ’, we planned many activities for children for that day. We had a fancy dress competition, we arranged some games for children and they also had some light snacks. We made a Nehru Cap for every child to take home in memory of Chacha Nehru to whom this day is dedicated.
We began the day by decorating our school with lots of balloons and smileys. Then we welcomed the children by wishing them “A Happy Children’s Day” and telling them the reason behind the celebration of this day. Today, we met a butterfly, a Reindeer, Indira Gandhi, Chacha Nehru, P Chidambaram and a fairy at our Fancy Dress Competition! After meeting our cute fancy dress participants the celebration started with the game “Ball in the Box” which children thoroughly enjoyed and the Winner of the game got a prize.
After the game it was time for the Snacks that we arranged especially for our children. They enjoyed this and then we played one more game which was everybody’s favorite, “Musical chairs”. After the games, we gave the Nehru Caps to everyone and took their photographs with their respective teachers. It was a day full of excitement and fun for everyone in school!!
